Shannon is extremely passionate about the important and life-changing experiences that children's choruses have to offer. She started her own childhood choral experience as a founding member of the Indianapolis Children's Choir many years ago. At that time, Glen Ellyn Children’s Chorus was their mentor, and the two choirs sang together many times, even hosting each other in their homes. Little did she know that a couple of decades later, she would rekindle her relationship with GECC when her own daughter started KidSingers ten years ago.

Shannon currently has two children in Anima. She is an active member of the Parent Task Force and has helped with multiple fundraisers, the music library, uniforms, office support, and rehearsal check-in, as well as chaperoned numerous events, including the most recent tour to England. She previously held positions on the Naperville Chorus Board, where she continued her love of choral singing for several years. When she isn't working with Anima, she works as a Registered Nurse in Pediatrics, Trauma and Emergency Medicine. Shannon is thrilled for the opportunity to support GECC and our singers in new ways!
